I’m In completely, now you might have been disappointed this last week or you might be overjoyed of what happened in election, you might sick of COVID-19 and nothing is quite right.
Eschatology word for the end times, tribulation or apocalypse whatever you want to call it.
Worst feelings
- Left Out or Uninvited
It does not feel incredibly good to be excluded from things.
Ever Felt
- Unwanted
- Undeserving
- Unwelcome?
Everyone experiences social rejection or exclusion at some point in life, it’s normal to feel upset when others exclude you, even if they didn’t do it on purpose.
Rejection of Jesus
According to the Gospel of Matthew and Luke.
Jesus walked earth claiming be God. People were not sure believe him or if he was crazy. If he truly is God, he would be for the Pharisees because nobody is holier than they are.
Extravagant Act of Worship
Symbol of Repentance. Leaving old life!
Luke 7:38-39 NLT
Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them. When the Pharisee who had invited him to saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She’s a sinner!”
Jesus invites the people others rejected
Even if you have doubted God, questioned God, been hurt by God! Tried to walk away from God, Failed God you are still invited!
Come with your

Fears
Addictions
Rejection
Baggage!
But do not come alone! Bring others with you!
You might need to make the first move if they don’t know what type of interaction you prefer, so invite them to a movie night or other quiet get together like Church.
