- Try serve God, do good when everything goes wrong for me?

David’s purpose

This is not a reference to David, for after David had done the will of God in his own generation, he died and was buried with his ancestors, and his body decayed.

Covid-19
In order protect people:
- Shut down world.
- Effort save lives.
- Kill economy.
- Save some lives.
- Ruin others!
Stuck in house:
- Fear!
- Frustration!
- Thinking this is nice
“Just can’t get motivated. Don’t have a reason to get going.” Lost his “WHY!” “PURPOSE!”
Not just an assignment in the future
1 Samuel 13:14 (NLT)
14 But now your kingdom must end, for the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart. The LORD has already appointed him to be the leader of his people, because you have not kept the LORD’s command.”
That’s why he served God’s purpose.
3 PRINCIPLES OF PURPOSE
- Your purpose isn’t for you. Your purpose is God’s purpose.
- You don’t find your purpose. You serve God’s purpose.
- If you want to serve God’s purpose, start serving God’s people!
