As a pastor, my deepest longing is not simply for you to hear a sermon or attend a service. My greatest desire is for you to lock eyes with Jesus.
That momentāwhen your soul meets His gazeāis everything. Itās the point of all preaching, all worship, all ministry. Because when you truly see Jesus, not just as a historical figure or theological concept, but as the living Savior who sees you⦠everything changes.
You see yourself through His eyes.
First, as a sinnerābroken, needy, and unable to save yourself.
Then, through the lens of His graceāredeemed, beloved, and called.
This encounter isnāt optional. Itās essential.
Can someone be saved without ever experiencing that moment? I honestly donāt know. But I do know this: a life in Jesus without that encounter feels like drudgery. It lacks the joy, the intimacy, the fire. Because locking eyes with Jesus is the best part. Itās the moment that makes everything else make sense.
š A Non-Negotiable Core Value
This isnāt just a personal convictionāitās a core value of our church. My preaching will always go there. Our worship will always aim there. Our community will always point there.
If youāre looking for a church that prioritizes programs over presence, or performance over encounter, this may not be the place for you. But if youāre hungry for Jesusāfor the real, living, soul-awakening Jesusāthen welcome home.
š Why We Preach the Word
We preach the Bible not to impress or entertain, but to lead you to Him. Every passage, every story, every truth is a signpost pointing to Jesus. And when you finally see Himāwhen you lock eyes with the One who died and rose for youāyouāll understand who you are, and why youāre here.
Thatās when transformation begins.
