As a pastor, my deepest longing is not simply for you to hear a sermon or attend a service. My greatest desire is for you to lock eyes with Jesus.
That momentâwhen your soul meets His gazeâis everything. Itâs the point of all preaching, all worship, all ministry. Because when you truly see Jesus, not just as a historical figure or theological concept, but as the living Savior who sees you⊠everything changes.
You see yourself through His eyes.
First, as a sinnerâbroken, needy, and unable to save yourself.
Then, through the lens of His graceâredeemed, beloved, and called.
This encounter isnât optional. Itâs essential.
Can someone be saved without ever experiencing that moment? I honestly donât know. But I do know this: a life in Jesus without that encounter feels like drudgery. It lacks the joy, the intimacy, the fire. Because locking eyes with Jesus is the best part. Itâs the moment that makes everything else make sense.
đ A Non-Negotiable Core Value
This isnât just a personal convictionâitâs a core value of our church. My preaching will always go there. Our worship will always aim there. Our community will always point there.
If youâre looking for a church that prioritizes programs over presence, or performance over encounter, this may not be the place for you. But if youâre hungry for Jesusâfor the real, living, soul-awakening Jesusâthen welcome home.
đ Why We Preach the Word
We preach the Bible not to impress or entertain, but to lead you to Him. Every passage, every story, every truth is a signpost pointing to Jesus. And when you finally see Himâwhen you lock eyes with the One who died and rose for youâyouâll understand who you are, and why youâre here.
Thatâs when transformation begins.
